POLLY ANNE ROY Peacefully with her family at her side our loving mother and baba passed away at the age of 70. Polly Anne will be sadly missed by her two sons, Kenneth (Tracy), Kevin (Rhonda) and her three grandchildren, Jordan, Jake and Justin. Also left to mourn her passing are her siblings, Boris (Pollyanna), Lloyd (Pauline), Caroline (Percy) and special friend Harry; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Polly Anne was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Douglas; her parents Nick and Annie; sister Donna Jane and brother Donald. Polly Anne was a member of St. Clements for 70 years. She worked at Monarch Industries, Tudor House, Red River Place and Happy Thought School as an E.A. for many years. She was a member of the Selkirk Friendship Centre and a director for the Selkirk Food Bank. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB. Interment of ashes will follow the service at the St. Peter's Stone Church, East Selkirk. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Selkirk Food Bank.
