CELINE THERESA JARVIS October 28, 1959 May 8, 2010 With her husband Helmut at her side Celine Jarvis passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on May 8, 2010. Celine is predeceased by her father Clyde; mother Lorna and brother Shane (Sandy). Celine is survived by her loving husband and life mate Helmut and her dearly loved son Jim; brothers Harold (Judi), Leonard (Ruby), George (Geri), Robert (Cheryl); sisters Mary Lou (Ernie), Sheila (Wally) and many nieces and nephews. Celine was born in Rainy River, ON and spent her early years on the family farm. She moved to Winnipeg and eventually met the love of her life Helmut Termath. They were married on August 10, 1996 in Saskatoon, SK. Helmut and Celine enjoyed travelling, living briefly in many places, but always returned to Winnipeg where they lived until Celine was promoted to her home in heaven. During Celine's illness the family was supported daily by visits and prayers from the congregations of the Baha'i and The Church Of The Rock . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010, in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, MB at 2:00 p.m. with Jeff Saxton officiating. The family would like to thank the kind and supportive staff at the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital and the many friends who visited Celine regularly. Special thanks are given to Dr. G. Harding, Dr. A. Leylek and the excellent care provided by the staff at CancerCare Manitoba. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements
