Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHANTELLE MARIE ANNE CHORNOBY February 5, 1989 - May 9, 2010 It is with the greatest sadness and sorrow that Chantelle's family announce the passing of their beautiful daughter, granddaughter, goddaughter, godmother, niece, friend, girlfriend and mother. Chantelle Marie Anne (moody anne) Chornoby passed peacefully with family by her side at 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, 2010 after an 11 year strong and brave battle with Ewing Sarcoma and Leukemia. Words cannot express the heartache we are feeling right now. Chantelle and her story have truly touched a lot of people, and those who knew her at a young age, could see that she was special. She has taught us so much; to believe in miracles, to trust in God and have hope. She has restored our faith in Him, allowing us to know that He hears our prayers, yet may not answer them. However proves that He only takes the best. She accepted the path that she chose, and the path that God had lead her on. She taught us compassion, never to leave anyone out. Always encouraging everyone especially when she needed encouragement herself. Let not the Cancer and her sickness take her from us, as she will live forever in our hearts. We will never say that she lost her battle, as she continues to live in our hearts forever. And to her son, Cheveyo ~ he carries her name.... a warrior princess, herself. We know that her family and friends will teach him all that Chantelle is.... and to carry on her legacy. Chantelle's family would like to thank everyone who knew, loved and supported her throughout the years. We also especially thank all the doctors, nurses and everyone who took care of her at Health Sciences Centre GD6 unit and MICU unit. Her last words to her granny Edna were GOD is an awesome GOD and tell everyone that I love them A memorial service will be held at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. in Winnipeg on Wednesday, May 12 at 1:00 p.m. and in Thompson at the St. James Anglican on Thursday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. Wake services will be held in Ilford at the Laliberty Memorial Centre 7:00 p.m. on May 13 and 14 with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. on May 15, 2010.
