JERZY CZYCZKO With sadness the family announces the passing of Jerzy Czyczko, beloved husband of Janina, on May 10, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 90 years. Beside his loving wife, he is also survived by, daughter Barbara (Ron) Girouard, step-children Elizabeth and Bogdan and their families in Poland, two grandchildren, Josey (Brent) and Marc, great-grandson Kai, and sister Anastasia and family in Poland. Jerzy immigrated to Canada from England after serving in the Free Polish Army in Italy during the Second World War. He made his way to Winnipeg where he worked as a mechanic at Freid Freid for 45 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 15 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with viewing at 11:30 a.m. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
