They settled in St. George, Manitoba and later in St. Norbert where they raised their family. Hélène's devotion and passion was her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She taught them to love and respect and they will carry this in their hearts forever. Hélène especially enjoyed family gatherings and loved travelling to visit her brothers, sisters and their families. She loved to sing and play music (guitar and piano) and took great joy in singing with the parish choir for many years. At the family cottage she enjoyed swimming, taking long walks and playing games. Her crafting skills included crocheting for which she gifted many keepsakes to family, friends and to the children's ward at the hospital. Other hobbies included quilting, sewing, and painting. Hélène had unconditional love for all she met. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, her sense of humour, and her kindness, compassion and generosity towards others.
