DONALD LLOYD MAYBIN It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Don Maybin, loving husband, brother, stepfather, and friend on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the age of 56 years. Remaining to forever cherish Don's memory are his loving partner of 20 years, Sarah; sister Sharon (Andy); brother Joe (Linda); step-daughters and sons, Pauline, Joy, Ernie (Cheryle) and Chris; nieces Tamara, Nicole and Andrea; nephews Jason, Travis and Trenton; grandchildren as well as extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Lloyd and mother Daphne. Don loved many sports, played hockey as a kid, curled and played shuffle board at Elmwood Legion for many years. He was an avid supporter of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Montreal Canadiens. On Friday, May 14, Don's Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue, with Rev. Don McIntyre, presider. The family would like to give special thanks to the Winnipeg Paramedics and the Concordia Hospital Emergency staff for all their help and support. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Don's memory to your favorite charity.
