ROGER (RAYMOND) DUSEIGNE November 27, 1937- May 12, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my wonderful husband Roger Duseigne, beloved father, brother and grandfather on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 72 years. Roger was predeceased by his loving parents, Pierre and Georgiana; two brothers, Armand and Albert. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Patricia; his children, Norma-Jean (Rod), Pierrette; stepchildren, Greg (Delma), Donald (Carol), Randy (Evelyn), Frank (Camilla); grandchildren, Randy-Lee, Samantha, Rod Jr., Jade, Tosh, Mateo and Rachel; sisters, Renee Holmes (Ron), Rolande Aitken (Roy); brother Denis Duseigne (Reta) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Roger grew up in St. Boniface and Homebrook, Manitoba, as a young man Roger had numerous jobs but later in life he found employment with CNR which he truly enjoyed. He was also a gifted musician and singer. He played with several bands with his brother Arnie throughout Winnipeg and the Interlake. He was known as Roger Duece among his musician friends. He had a great sense of humour. Family was his #1 priority, on March 16, 1990 he married his blind date Patricia, whom he met on New Year's Eve in 1988. They had a beautiful life together. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at St. Joseph The Worker Parish, 505 Brewster St. in Transcona at 1:00 p.m. Respecting Roger's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. Thank you to the emergency staff at the Concordia Hospital for the wonderful care Roger received. Rest in peace, my darling. I love you. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roger's name to a charity of one's choice. A cluster of precious memories Sprayed with a million tears, Wishing God had spared you If only for a few more years. You left a special memory And a sorrow too great to hold, To us who loved and lost you Your memory will never grow old. Thanks for the years we had Thanks for the memories we shared, We only prayed that when you left us That you knew how much we cared. Funeral Arrangements in care of: WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 211 REGENT AVENUE, WEST (AT BOND ST.) 224-1525
