Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS ROY DUNCAN PARSONS Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Wednesday evening May 5, 2010 Dennis passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 66 years. Dennis is survived by his estranged wife Lynn, step-children Tim and his sister Tammy Clawson, by his grandchildren: Aslyn, Baylie, Brandi and Brayden. Dennis also leaves to mourn his passing three sisters: Leslie Culler (Carl), Dorothy Chasney, and Wendy Vincent (Fred) as well as his sister-in-law Joan Parsons. He is also survived by a large extended family; cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his mother and father - Edith and Frank Parsons; brothers: Frank (Audrey), Kenneth, James (Nan), Robert, his baby brother Brian and a sister Arlene Galle (Chuck). Dennis was born, and raised in Winnipeg. He grew up and received his education in West Kildonan. In 1979 he moved with his wife Lynn to the Okanagan Valley. He enjoyed BC and resided there until 2003 when he returned to Winnipeg to, once again, be close to his family. Dennis was a very gentle, quiet person who loved sports. Golfing, curling and skiing were his favourites. When he was no longer able to participate in sports he enjoyed watching them on television with his family. Dennis was especially close to his youngest sister Wendy and her husband Fred with whom he lived until his demise. Dennis also enjoyed many hours of watching television and playing with his grand-niece Mercadies who he loved very much. The family is grateful for the care and compassion of the Paramedics, as well as the Nurses and Doctors of Concordia Hospital. In keeping with Dennis's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will not be held. If friends and relatives so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Lung Association or a charity of their choice. REST IN PEACE OUR BELOVED BROTHER
