DEBORAH (DEBBIE) ESTELLE IVES (nee GILLEN) On Saturday, May 8, 2010, Debbie passed away in her home after a brief illness at the age of 57 years. Remaining to forever cherish Debbie's memory are her loving husband, John; children John Jr. (Melanie), Brandi (Wallace), Gary, Troy (Angie), Gillian, Trevor (Stephanie), Jen, Kayla, Rose; grandchildren, Lily, Taylor, Breanna, Hunter, Kylie; parents, William and Edna Gillen of Keswick Ridge, NB; brothers, Larry (Susan) of Calgary, AB, Michael (Kary) of Waasis, NB; sisters Peggy Brown (Mike) of Edmonton, AB, Shannon of Ottawa, ON, Kelly Waugh (Peter) of Keswick Ridge, NB. She was predeceased by her brother Patrick and niece Lyndsay. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital; Grace Hospital and the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service for their dedication and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or a charity of one's choice. GOODBYE MOM We did not know that morning What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief, the shock severe To part with one we loved so dear. You bid no one a last farewell, No chance to say good-bye, You were gone, Mom, before we knew it And God only knows why. We pray that when you left us, That you knew how much we cared, Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through, We will always love and cherish memories of you. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, You walk with us throughout our lives Until we meet again.
