Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER PARKINSON (ERB) 1943 2010 On May 7, Alexander (Rex) died peacefully at the Grace General Hospital in Winnipeg. Rex is survived by his siblings Ray Erb (Arlene) and Ron Erb and his niece Tracy; nephews Christopher and Craig. At Rex's request, he has been cremated without ceremony and his ashes will be spread. My, how the years go by. I still remember the time when Alexander walked up to me in the hall at the University of Winnipeg years ago. We became friends soon after. I enjoyed being his friend and know that someday we will meet again. Alexander liked to keep his place spotless and clutter-free. He made the nicest breakfast complete with "would you like a cup of tea?". He made me laugh many a time. We used to go and eat at many different restaurants. Our last outing was at a Chinese Food Restaurant down the street from where he lived. I am sure that he checks up on me from time to time. Shortly after he passed away and awhile ago, I still find pennies in the oddest place. I know that is his way of letting me know that he stopped by and is saying " hi.". Alexander loved to learn and work on his daily crossword. Anyway, I just thought that I would share some fond memories about my good friend Alexander. See you again someday Alexander.
