JOHN EDWARD WASNEY It is with great sadness we announce the passing of my husband Johnny, beloved father, brother and grandfather, on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the age of 84. John was predeceased by his loving parents, George and Takea Wasney. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Emily of 62 years; his children, Cathy and Dave Anderson, Grant and Fern; and his dear grandson Trevor Lee. Also left to mourn his passing are his sister Ann Kulbaba and godson Garry (Anna) and their son Ken, brother Walter (Mary) and sister Violet (Ted). John worked at Motor Coach Industries for 44 years, retiring in 1991. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with The Very Reverend Wesley Cevieka officiating. Interment and reception will follow.
