ETHEL ANTONIO (nee Wilgosh) 1920 - 2010 It is with deep sadness we announce the tragic passing of our mom and grandma. Ethel leaves to mourn, her son Victor (Anita), granddaughter Christina and sister Annie. Ethel was predeceased by her husband John in 1998, her sisters Mary, Helen and brothers Nick, John, Paul and Mike. Ethel was born in Preeceville, Saskatchewan, where she met and married John in 1943. They then moved to Sudbury, Ontario where they had their son Victor. After a short stay in Sudbury, they moved to Winnipeg where they bought a home on Magnus Avenue to raise and enjoy their son. Ethel worked for many years as a seamstress at a jean factory, After retiring Ethel and John purchased a new home in the Maples which they enjoyed for many years, gardening and working side by side. Ethel always made sure her family had plenty homemade of jam, pies, bread, cakes and anything else homemade. Mom's greatest joy was looking after Christina when she was a young child. Ethel was her happiest when family was all together for family meals. Mom was a very caring, giving person that would give you any advice whenever you needed it. She will be dearly missed by all who were close to her. According to Mom's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation in Ethel's name may be made to a charity of one's choice. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
