MIKE KALYNCHUK It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, grandson, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and dear friend. Mike was a fun-loving guy that everyone liked and always had something good to say about. You could always count on him, as he would be there for family and friends. Mike had a big heart and was sensitive to the needs of others. Mike was always a call away for anyone who needed any assistance. His sense of humour and his ability to capture the attention of others with his contagious good nature will be deeply missed. Mike over the years enjoyed his fishing and hanging out with his friends. Mike discovered a new interest in exotic fish, and had many tanks of fish that gave him countless hours of pleasure and relaxation. He always said his interest in fish put him in a good place. Mike was predeceased recently by his dad Greg (Maureen), who he missed a lot and spoke of frequently to family and friends. Although Mike will be tremendously missed, may there be comfort in knowing that he is going to be with dad once again. He is survived by his mom, Chantal (Nelson), brother Dan, sister Christine (Kevin), nephew Ryan, niece Stephanie, grandmother (Gabrielle Foucart), and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation will be taking place. Funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
