KATHERINE AMEY Peacefully, on May 14, 2010, Katherine Amey passed away after a full and happy life of 94 years. Kaye worked at Tower Drugs for over 20 years, and enjoyed gardening, knitting, watching sports, travel, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren (who always appreciated the contents of her cookie jar). She is survived by her children Carole (Neil), Marilyn (Dwight); four grandchildren Kim (Tim), Carrie (Richard), Kris (Mike), Caitlin (Jason), and Gary Goodman; seven great-grandchildren Jack and Ellie, Brandon and Breann, Cohen and Milo, and Sam; many nieces, nephews, and friends, including close family friends Barb Jarvis, and the Antonius Family. Katherine was predeceased by her loving husband Norman, grandson Billy, and five siblings Mary, Joe, Anne, Betty, and Frank. Many thanks to the ladies of the Luther Home club and St. Anthony's C.W.L. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Patel, the caring staff of Seven Oaks Hospital Unit 5, and Alexandra of Palliative Care. If desired, donations can be sent to Heart and Stroke Foundation and CancerCare. Memorial Service and reception to be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, Friday, May 21, 12:00 pm. A private family interment to follow. 586-8044
