JANET ELIZABETH JONES Peacefully, on May 17, 2010, the Angels gently carried Mum away to be reunited with our Dad. Although she fought valiantly to stay with us, the effects of a massive stroke on February 26, 2010 were too much to overcome. Mum was predeceased by our Dad in 1993, and is survived by her children, Bev Bachewich (Len), Lorraine Jones-Wieler (Dennis) and Dennis Jones (friend Sharon) daughter-in-law Pat Jones, and four grandchildren, Darcee, Stephanie, Kim (friend Guy) and Darren (Valerie) and three great-grandchildren, Drew, Josh and Taylor. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Ross Hay (Marguerite) and Ken Hay (Marjorie) and her sisters, Dorothy Duncan and Evelyn Pool and her sister-in-law Thelma Hay. She was also predeceased by her brothers-in-law John Pool and Ralph Duncan. If friends so desire, a condolence contribution may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Catherine Newham-Portage Office, 103 Wilkinson Crescent, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1A7 Friends may call at the funeral home for visitation on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the Austin E.M.M.C. Church, on Leyton St., Austin, Manitoba, at 2:00 p.m. with luncheon to be held in the Austin Hall, Austin Manitoba. A private interment will take place.
