ANNE MCMILLAN December 22, 1921 - May 15, 2010 On Saturday, May 15, 2010, Anne McMillan (nee Sliboda) passed away peacefully in her sleep at home at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim; grandson, David; and son-in-law, Arnie. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Willy, Mike, Sophie, Mary, Steve, Bill and Olga. She is survived by her children Jim, Bev Harbour, Grant (Carol), Dale (David Willis); as well as her grandchildren James Thompson, Michael, Andy, Kayleigh McMillan, and Becky Willis. She is also survived by her sister Sally Barr. Anne was born in Winnipeg on December 22, 1921. She was raised in Point Douglas and attended Norquay and St. John's schools. Anne married Jim on June 24, 1943 and they remained in the North End of Winnipeg to raise their family. They were happily married for 56 years. They enjoyed Caribbean cruises, trips to Spain, Portugal, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. Baba will be remembered for crocheting afghans for her family as well as making all those delicious perogies and cabbage rolls. She volunteered many hours at Sinclair Park Community Centre (C.U.A.C.). Anne sure enjoyed her Thursday nights at Bingo! She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her family. In accordance with Anne's wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. VICHNAYA PAM'YAT
