CAMERON EDWARD WILSON July 2, 1976 - April 28, 2010 It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our son and brother. Cameron was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He grew up in Valley Gardens, graduating from Kildonan East Collegiate. After completing a Computer Programming course at Robertson College, he moved to Calgary, Vancouver, and to Florida to further his career. There he met and married Julie Mills. Cam and Julie travelled the world together. Cam lived life to the fullest, visiting many countries. He made many friends along the way, before settling in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where he opened the wine bar, D'Vino. It was a tremendous success...after many, many hours of hard work, with the help of many others, including Frano, Gildas, Rosa, Alisa, and Ivor. As anyone that knew Cam knew - what he set his mind to, he did 110%. In Dubrovnik, Cam earned the respect and admiration of both the local persons and the business community. He was considered by all his friends in Dubrovnik as their family. Cam will be forever missed but never forgotten by his mother and stepfather Patricia and Brian Somers, his sister and brother-in-law Carrie and Dave Whitford, his niece and nephew Alexis Rae Whitford and David Cameron Whitford, his grandmother Johanna Gobeil, his grandmother Dorothy Somers, his stepbrother Larry Somers (Susan) and children, as well as numerous family members and friends around the world. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any humane society or animal shelter in Baily's or Emma's (his babies) names. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Klassen Funeral Home.
