DORIS EDNA CORRIGAL (nee Matthews) It is with great sadness that the family of Doris wish to announce her peaceful passing. She was predeceased by her (eldest) daughter Donna Bell, her husband Reg Corrigal, her special grandson Willy Corrigal and her brother Vern Matthews. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn, her sister Isobel, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and nephews Gerald and Bud. Doris worked full time as a waitress and scrubbed floors two nights a week to raise her two daughters. Once the grandchildren started to arrive sewing, knitting, crocheting became a standard, making endless items for her grandchildren and great grandchildren to wear. Doris was a long standing member of the Army and Navy (Club 60) spending countless Saturdays dancing the day away. With her beautiful blue eyes and meticulously styled white hair she could be spotted easily on the dance floor. Doris will be deeply missed by her family and friends. At her request cremation has taken place and a family interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Wilson, and the caring staff at SOGH 5U6. Flowers gratefully declined, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

William loved her and I wish our son Matthew would of met her prior to her passing. Willy's son Matthew passed on and joined his father in heaven. - Posted by: Michele olson (Family) on: Dec 28, 2021
