GRACE TURNBULL (nee HAY) On May 20, 2010 with her family by her side Mom peacefully passed on to be with her beloved Cam. Grace and Cam are now walking hand in hand along the River Dee where they met in Aberdeen in 1944. Mom is back with the love of her life. Although Mom put on a brave face with charm and dignity for the last 12 years, she missed Dad every day since his passing. Grace was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on June 28, 1924 and lived in Leith until she came to Canada with Dad. Mom was a war bride who married a dashing young bomber pilot stationed overseas with the RCAF. They had a long and happy life together. All of us who remain will always cherish the memories of a close family. Mom's family will miss her dearly. She is survived by her sons Gordon (Vicki), Colin (Shirley), grandchildren Allison (Ken), Jessica (Jason), Susan, Erin, and Paul. She was a great- grandma to Alex , Max and Bryson. Mom, we will be seeing you and Dad in all the old familiar places. Love, your sons and family A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
