Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE RUBY August 10, 1912 - May 14, 2010 With deep sadness we announce the passing of Annie Ruby at the Charleswood Care Centre. She was a very loving and caring person. Annie was predeceased by husband Harry; daughter-in-law Pat; parents, John and Teena Humeny; brothers, John and Alex; sisters, Olga, Helen and Mary. She leaves to mourn sons, Ernie (Pam) and Richard; grandsons, Jason (Leanne), Brent (Heather); great-grandsons, Joshua and Benjamin; and special daughter-in-law Margaret. Extended families are Sherrill Dallmann (Jeffrey, Michelle, Alanna, Nicholas); Kristy Nanton (Alexander, Kyle) and Grant and Shannon Stefanson (Jilian, Reyna, Natalie). Mom loved dancing, playing cards, family get-togethers, cooking Ukrainian dishes and gardening. Until the end, she possessed a very keen mind and sense of humour and formed many close friendships at the residence. The family would like to express our thanks to the wonderful staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for the excellent care given to Annie throughout the past five years. Sincere thanks to Dr. Shing, Deena and Lori, as well as the many others who contributed to her well being. In keeping with Annie's wishes, cremation has taken place. At her request, no formal service will be held. A celebration of her life will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Annie's memory may be made to the Charleswood Care Centre, 5501 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3R 0G8 or a charity of your choice. Annie, your love, generosity and indomitable spirit touched many and we shall forever cherish our fond memories of you. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
