Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERTRUDE GIESBRECHT November 13, 1916 - May 21, 2010 Gertrude Giesbrecht passed away peacefully on May 21, 2010, at the age of 93, at Middlechurch home of Winnipeg. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband Peter, brothers Johann and Abram, sisters Helena, Anna and Maria. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Elizabeth, Henry (Linda), Bill (Marg), Peter, Garry (Donna), brother Frank, step-sister Margaret, by her 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Gertrude had enjoyed playing Scrabble, gardening, knitting, bowling and was a great baker. A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 27, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at Green Acres funeral home. Donations may be made in Gertrude memory to a charity of your choice or you can send flowers to the funeral service.
