ALAN WILLIAM CROUCH March 9, 1925 May 21, 2010 It is with a deep sense of sadness and loss that we announce the passing of Alan William (Bill) Crouch on May 21, 2010. Bill's journey began March 9, 1925 in Three Rivers, Quebec, born to Gilbert and Katherine Crouch. He enjoyed several occupations, which ranged from working for the Board of Education to Trimac Transport. He travelled from Ontario to BC but made a home in Winnipeg for many years then relocated to Portage la Prairie where his final journey took him to Portage District General Hospital where he passed peacefully, surrounded by love. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jean, his daughters Cheryl (Henry), Cindy (DJ), Cathy (Don), Corrie, his son Cam, grandchildren Sherri (Brad), Tyler, Daniel, Will, Cheyenne, Lorelie (Kevin), Cjae, Stanley and Mallorie, great-grandchildren Codey, Cierra, Taylor, Kaydyn and Iya, his sister Barbara Crawford of ON, many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents, brother Bob and sister Betty. We would like to thank all the staff of PDGH Medical Unit and a very special Thank you to Jennifer and Dr. Parker for their care, comfort and commitment you have shown our family during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 06 or to the MB Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6 would be appreciated.
