LUCILLE MARY JEANNE FILZ (nee ZASTRE) October 28, 1934 - May 18, 2010 Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre. Born in Cayer, Manitoba on October 28, 1934. Predeceased by her mother Lina and father Joseph Zastre also by her sisters, Arlettea, Verna; brothers, Maurice and Paul. Lucy leaves to mourn her memory, children, Frank, Charlene; and her cherished granddaughter Cheyenne; also ex-husband Otto Filz. She is survived by her beloved siblings, (Blanche), Donald, Edward (Francine), David, (Florence), Annette (Bob) McKinnon, Marcel (Alvina), Raymond (Donna), Vern, Denise (Rick) Treyturik. All of her special nieces and nephews who she adored spending time with. Special warm thoughts go out to the family and friends who were with her during her last days. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street. Msgr. E. Samson presiding. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucille's memory to Riverview Health Centre. Many thanks to the doctors, staff on 3 East for their compassion, kindness and loyalty to Mom.
