Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH KUFFNER July 20, 1924 May 24, 2010 Peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2010, Joseph Kuffner, aged 85 of Cooks Creek, passed away with family by his side at Selkirk Hospital. Joseph will be sadly missed and joyfully remembered by his wife Violet and children, Joe (Colleen), Ernie (Valerie) and Brian (Debra) Kuffner; sisters, Adele and Jean and many nieces and nephews. Joseph is predeceased by his mother and father (Victor and Sophie); sister Verna and husband Edward Osiowy; brothers-in-law, John Onsowich and Herb Bettess. Joseph's passion was farming from the early days of horse and plow to four-wheel drive tractors. He will truly be missed but not forgotten as he travels around the country-side looking at all the crops. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church in Cooks Creek with Father Charles Fillion officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Cremation has already taken place. The family would like to invite you to join us for lunch in the basement of St. Michael's Church following the interment.

Interesting!!! My aunt was Tillie Kuffner, married to Tom Pshednowek, which would likely be his aunt ??? I live in Calgary but my relatives were from Cooks Creek.
