ALMERTO CABUNGCAL SR. Suddenly on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Almerto Cabungcal Sr. passed away at the age of 48 years. Almerto is survived by his wife Teresa; sons, Salvador (Raquel); Almerto Jr. and Al; and grandson, Melo; brother, Alex (Puring); sisters Norie (Bonnie), Gloria (Rudy), Clarita and Mayena (Renato); sister-in-law Elisa as well as many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Salvador and Gurgonia; brothers Ernesto, Mario and Pablito. Almerto has spent his years working for Varta Batteries and Dixon Bay Company. Lamay/Vigil Prayers will be held at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. on Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30, 2010. Lamay commences at 6:00 p.m. both evenings and concludes at the request of the family. Vigil Prayers will be said on Sunday evening at 9:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington Street with Rev. Father Rainerio Sarce Celebrant. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Family and friends are invited back to the Mosaic Reception Centre after the interment.
