RICHARD GEORGE STILLAR April 25, 1961 - May 23, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the accidental passing of Richard on Sunday, May 23, 2010. He moved to Edmonton for work and to be close to his friends. Richard loved family and especially loved children. He loved music, dancing and spending time with his friends in Alberta and St. Laurent, MB. Richard is survived by his mom Norma McCord of Winnipeg; his brother Alan of Red Earth, AB; his sister Penny of Winnipeg; his nephew Eric Peters of Winnipeg; his grandma Pauline Krauss of Winnipeg; his cousin Greg Lisenchuk of Alberta and many other cousins, aunts and uncles. Richard was predeceased by his sister Tammy, his father Archie and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Stillar. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held in St. Laurent (Hwy. 6) at the St. Laurent Parish Hall Monday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Bill Watson will officiate. Pallbearers, Eric Peters - Laurel Blais. An Edmonton service was held Wednesday, May 26. I would like to express my appreciation to all Richard's friends and relatives in Alberta and Manitoba for the help and care in the preparation of services. Your golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. When we are sad and lonely And everything goes wrong, We seem to hear you whisper Cheer up and carry on . Though your laugh is gone forever Your hands we cannot touch, Thanks for all that we have shared And for loving us so much.
