IDA BAERT MAGER (nee BAERT) 1915 - 2010 The family would like to announce the passing of Ida Mager at River East Personal Care Home on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Ida was predeceased by her husband, Gene Mager and son-in-law, Sandy Brown. She was also predeceased by her brothers Andrew and John, sisters Mary, Valerie and Lucille, as well as nephew Ron Baert. Ida is lovingly remembered by her daughters Lucille Brown, Eileen and husband Ken Batt, Irene and husband Tom Chernetz. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sean Brown (Takae Kitayama), Joanne Brown, Ian Batt, Allison Batt (Jeff Wrathall), Kyle Chernetz and Kelly Lyons (Scott Lyons). Ida especially enjoyed her time with her great-grandchildren Joshua, Chloe, Lucas, Yukine, and Dylan. She will be missed by her sister Clara De Wulf, numerous nieces, nephews, and family in Belgium and the United States. The family wishes to thank the staff, volunteers, and residents of the River East Personal Care Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 1, 2010 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint).
