OLGA (OLHA) KOZAK September 10, 1922 - May 29, 2010 Peacefully on May 29, 2010, at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Auntie Olga's journey through earthly life ended. We know that God has greeted her with open arms. She was predeceased by her parents Dmytro and Elena (Kushniryk); brothers and sisters John, Maria, Hania, Anna, Petro, Myhaylo, Paul, Wasyl and Peter; as well as two nephews. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters Mary Rybuck, Nettie Tofan and Pauline Machnee, sister-in-law Verna Kozak, and numerous nieces and nephews, some affectionately called my dear children . Olga enjoyed decorating pysanky which are enjoyed around the world and sewing homemade lingerie. She loved nurturing her flower and vegetable gardens, which she gladly shared with family and friends. Olga was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church throughout her lifetime. Olga will be remembered for her generosity and strong sense of independence. Prayers will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church in Tolstoi with Rev. Dr. G. Zubacz and Deacon L. Twerdun officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Olga's memory to Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery Fund, Box 92, Tolstoi, Manitoba, R0A 2E0, would be most appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Krahn, the dedicated staff at Bethesda Hospital and Home Care for their kind care and compassion. We also wish to extend a special thank you to family and dear friends who have been so kind and helped her along the way. She was truly grateful. Vichnaya Pamyat
