MERVIN D. CALLIN (SONNY) 1936 2010 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Mervin D. Callin on June 1, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 73 years. Mervin was predeceased by his parents Elma and John Callin. Mervin leaves to mourn his passing his two sons: Shawn (Valdene) and their son Shaye, and Todd (Jacquie) and their son Luke. Also left to mourn are his brother John, sisters: Marlene, June, Roena and Una. He also leaves extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mervin was born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan. As a teenager he moved to Revelstoke, BC with his family. He was employed with CIBC after high school and was employed with the company for 36 years until his retirement. Mervin enjoyed a relaxing retirement and mostly enjoyed time with family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with interment and reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made in Mervin's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Association of Manitoba. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
