CHARLOTTE ISABEL WARREN (HODGE) February 17, 1926 - June 1, 2010 Peacefully, on June 1, 2010, Charlotte passed away at the age of 84. Charlotte was born in Teulon to Mimmie Mae (Quickfall) and Frank Andrew Hodge. She is predeceased by her husband Herb, her parents, brothers Martin, Andy and Ned, and close family friends Steve Genik and Charles Moffatt. Left to cherish her memory is stepson Jack Warren (Reta); grandchildren Darren (Bev), Cindy and Hali; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Julie Hodge and Marion Hodge; nephews Lyle (Rosemary), Myles (Jean), Cory (Marie), Greg (Gwen); nieces Gwen (Chris), Pam (Gene) and Marylou, as well as great nieces and nephews. Charlotte was educated at Netley School and High School in Teulon. She attended Normal School in Winnipeg to become a teacher, later graduating from the University of Manitoba. She started teaching in rural Manitoba in 1945, retiring in 1986 from the Winnipeg School Division #1. Family and friends were most important to Charlotte. Her most enjoyable times were spent with Herb and their pets at the cabin on Dorothy Lake. She was a true animal and nature lover as well as an avid sports fan. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 5 at Neil Bardal Inc., 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery) at 10:00 a.m., with viewing at 9:30 a.m. Her family gratefully appreciates the exceptional respect and care Charlotte received at the Brummitt Feasby ALS House.
