RUTH ISABELLE CONRAD (nee SHERRIN) July 25, 1919 - June 1, 2010 Ruth was born and lived all of her life in Winnipeg. She was one of five siblings, and is survived by her sister Dorothy (and Bill Treasure) of Ottawa. She married Rod, a CN brakeman, who predeceased her in 1984. They had one daughter, Eileen Scott of Ontario, who is married to Don. Ruth was gifted with two wonderful grandchildren, James of Burlington, and Jennifer of Bracebridge, who produced two wonderful great-children, Kyler and Sienna. Ainslie Street was the family home for over 50 years - what a wonderful caring neighbour-hood. The Bidewells will be especially remembered. Ruth was active for years in Sturgeon Creek United Church and particularly enjoyed Chatty Crafters. She loved her flower garden, her music, as well as her weekly bowling. Leslie Sanders, a special friend and caregiver, will always hold a special place. Ruth died peacefully while watching television - a favourite pastime - in her recently new residence at Sturgeon Creek residences. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive with a reception to follow. If desired, in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a charity of your choice. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
