HENRY ZELLER Peacefully, with his wife by his side, Henry Zeller passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 78 years on June 2, 2010. Henry leaves behind his wife Erika, and their children Ronald, Harald, and Christina (Kevin Handregan), and his cherished little one granddaughter Erika Lynn. As well as special nephew Clifford Zeller (Shelley Colquhoun), his two brothers and sister in law and their families in Germany, and one sister and her family in Toronto. Henry came to Canada in 1956 and was followed shortly after by Erika. He was a Master carpenter by trade and was self employed building houses for many years. He was also employed by Manitoba Housing for over 20 years. He won many national awards as a competitive marksman and volunteered his time, including as president, to the Manitoba Provincial Rifle Association. In his later years he spent many hours at his lathe creating works of art for family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Dialyses Unit for their many years of care given to Henry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Henry to the St. Boniface Hospital- Dialyses Patient Comfort Fund, or the Winnipeg Humane Society. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., Christ the King Parish, 847 St. Mary's Road with Father Renato Passinato celebrant.
