LENA ROZAK (EWONCHUK) After a courageous battle with cancer, Lena Rozak, peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 with her family at her side. Left to cherish her memory is husband Walter Rozak, children Gary Rozak (Bev), Kelley Turnbull (Rick) and Karen Litke (Rick). Grandchildren David, Danielle, Amber, Julie, Carlie, Cory, Eric, Justin and sister Helen Woloshyn. Lena was predeceased by her parents William and Anna Ewonchuk, brothers Mike, Bill, Morris, Bud, Steve, Peter, Joe and sisters Alice Woloshyn and Mary Schultz. Lena was born January 14, 1928 in the district of Kilkenny, MB. She left the farm in Fisher Branch to pursue life in Winnipeg where she met her husband Walter. For almost 60 years together they proudly raised a family and were graced with many grandchildren whom they adored. A celebration of Lena's life will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Interment and reception to follow. Services will be officiated by Father Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM. Pallbearers are Rick, David and Danielle Turnbull, Rick Litke, Cory Ball and Gerald Kulbaba. Honourary Pallbearers are Amber, Julie and Carlie Litke, Eric and Justin Ball, Dennis Kulbaba and Jessyca Georgison. Our family extends our appreciation for the dedication and compassion of Palliative Care Nurses Lana and Rachael as well as Home Care worker Maria.
