AUDREY STOCK It is with great regret and sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Audrey Stock (nee Nordass) at Victoria Hospital on Sunday, May 30, 2010. Audrey was 78 years old. Audrey will be sadly missed by her whole family, especially her loving husband Fred, to whom she was married for 57 years. She was the mother of Shirley (Matile), Gordon and Carole and grandmother of Jennifer, Rachel, Andrew and Adrian. She was also the great-grandmother of Brady (Simpson). She will be sadly missed by Gaywood, Garrett, Bill and Josie. Audrey was an excellent singer, and sang in the Hydro-X choir, and she was an enthusiastic bowler, playing in the Windsor Ladies Bowling League. Audrey's parents, Maud and Thomas Nordass, are buried at St. Oswald's Church in Flamborough, on the east coast of Yorkshire, England. Audrey was the youngest of three sisters; Sylvia (Jameson) who lives in Hull, Yorkshire, England and Vera (Maynard), who passed away several years ago and is buried near Skirlaugh, again in eastern Yorkshire. Cremation will be done, and she will be laid to rest at St.Vital Park Cemetery. A service of remembrance and reception will be held at the Masonic Memorial Temple, 420 Corydon Ave. (by Confusion Corner) at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010.
