KEITH HALL November 29, 1927 - May 26, 2010 With much sorrow we announce the passing of Keith Thomas Hall on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley (nee Pike) of 54 years, children Leslie Hall, Laurie Hall and husband Lance Rayner, Lee and husband Gordon Gregg, Lindsey and Bonnie Hall, Lynne and husband Darryl Vickery, and 14 most cherished grandchildren. He will also be remembered by the many people whose lives he touched, including his step-grandchildren. Keith was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and worked for the Manitoba Telephone System for 53 years. He was an avid reader, photographer and loved to sail. In his youth, Keith enjoyed winter camping and weekend bicycling trips with his friends, and later helped run the 22nd Scout Troop. A King's Scout, he spent many years teaching Scouts, Brownies and Guides how to identify birds and animals, classify flora and fauna, orienteering, and taught the Caddy Lake Girl Guides how to sail. Keith was predeceased by his parents Harry and Leda Hall, and brothers Gary and Manser. A celebration of Keith's life will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010, at St. John's Cathedral, 135 Anderson Avenue, at 1:00 p.m., reception to follow.
