STELLA JANNETTA Peacefully, and with family at her side, Mom passed away on June 8, 2010 at Concordia Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Lori (Steve) and son James (Maureen); grandchildren, Timothy, Tara (Colin), Simone, Nick, and Matt; great-granddaughter Kinleigh; sisters, Eve Kosmuk and Ann Bilious, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James; sister, Nat Raitz and brother, Jack Paluck. Mom was born April 28, 1926 in Kamsack, SK to Paul and Paulina Paluck. She spent her childhood on her parents' farm and then moved to Winnipeg as a young woman. Here she married and raised her family. Mom's favourite time of year was spring and summer when she could spend time outside tending to her garden. Mom also enjoyed so many great summers at Winnipeg Beach with her children and extended family. The family would like to thank Dr. Erica Halmarson, the emergency staff and nursing staff at Concordia Hospital for the care they gave Mom in her final days. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Service will terminate at the Chapel. Flowers are gratefully declined.
