PIERCE COLTEN WRIGHT August 10, 1991 June 5, 2010 It is with deep sadness and heartache that the family announces the sudden passing of Pierce Colten Wright at his residence on June 5, 2010. He is mourned by his mother and father, Kim Wright and Richard Lavallee; loving brother Logan Wright; grandparents, Gloria and Terry Wright, Delores Lavallee; great-grandfather Robert Wright (Irene); aunts, Angela Wright (Jim), Judy Lavallee, Debbie Rotoff (Andy), Suzzanna Koszyk; uncles, Darrin Wright, Curtis and Larry Lavallee; cousins, Tylene, John, Larry Jr., Terrence, Brenddon, Bowdan, Jason, Isleanna, Jessica, Courtney and numerous great uncles, aunts, second cousins, friends, as well as by John Arnold. Pierce was born August 10, 1991 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He attended St. John's High School and graduated in 2009, one of his biggest accomplishments. He enjoyed participating in cross country and track and field, he loved to run. With the school, Pierce travelled to Alberta and Saskatchewan for track and field meets, his favourite event being the high jump. He also participated in running the full Manitoba Marathon with the St. John's relay team, placing first for high school boys in 2007. Pierce loved to breakdance, kickbox, listen to music, and hang out with his friends. His greatest passion was his art. Pierce was a very talented artist, sketching and drawing. He had an amazing imagination and was able to express it in a unique way. He had an amazing gift. His dream was to one day open a tattoo shop. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment will follow.
