EVELYN LOUISE CASTELEIN (nee WHITEHEAD) November 14, 1943 June 7, 2010 Peacefully, on Monday, June 7, 2010, with her family by her side, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 66 years. Evelyn was predeceased by her three infant sons, father William and mother Beatrice. Mom leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Dawn (Tobie), grandchild Gerald (Rachelle), great-grandchild Travis, grand-children, Grant (Maegan), Jennifer (Ryan), great-grandchild Ethan; Beverley, grand-children, Angela, Louis, Melissa and Carl; Deanna (Jay), grandchildren, Amanda and Jessica; Alice (Brian), grandchildren, Kristen, great-grandchild Kayden and grandchild Chris; Glenda, grandchildren, Kimberley and Derek; Josie-Lynne (Kelly), grandchildren, Chasity, Lora-Lee and Alexie; brothers, Richard and Denis; sisters, Beverley, Catherine and Patricia. Mom enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was very family oriented. Mom made Christmas and special occasions a full blown feast. She loved baking and making special memories. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Cremation has taken place. Special thank you for the care and support of the home care workers, Riverview Health Centre and the staff at the Grace Hospital during her last days. Donation may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3, as she loved animals.
