FLORE TOUPIN Peacefully on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the Taché Nursing Centre, Flore passed away at the age of 95 years with her niece Liliane by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Amable and Eliane (née Gratton) Toupin; five sisters: Marie-Ange, Cordélia, Maria, Dorothée (Schoenfeld) and Agnes (Lambert); brothers-in-law Ernest Schoenfeld and Edouard Lambert; niece Emily Lambert; and nephew Roger Lambert. Flore leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved nephews: Denis, Raymond, Marcel and wife Annette; niece Liliane Lambert; 10 great-nephews, three great-nieces, and their spouses; 10 great-great-nephews, 12 great-great-nieces, and their spouses; and two great-great-great-nieces. Her greatest loves were spending time with her family, travelling, golfing and happy hour with friends. Flore retired in 1980 from Radio-Canada (CKSB) where she spent most of her career as an Executive Secretary. Special thanks to her caring niece Liliane and the dedicated staff from 2ABC at the Taché Nursing Centre. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Flore's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2010, in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Flore's memory to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, D1003 - 409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2H 2A6 or by calling the Foundation at 237-2067.
