THERESE ROBERT (nee CHARTIER) November 10, 1928 - June 12, 2010 Peacefully on June 12, 2010, with family by her side, Thérèse passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband René (1986), her son Charly (1998) and four brothers and two sisters. Left with memories are her children Henri (Heather), Dora (Dusty), Marcel (Karen), Louise (Gilbert), Arthur (Marla), Lucille, Aline (Keith), Liliane (Danny), Beatrice (Dwight), Roger (Gerri), Jeannine (Trevor). Also surviving are her brothers Joseph (Lucille), Léo (Mariette), 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks to nieces Aurore and Denise. Mom worked hard on the farm raising 12 children. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, bingo, baking bread, making her famous crêpes and we will all miss les p'tits buns que memère a fait. Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the care givers and residents at the Résidence Despins for their devotion and compassion given over the past two years, and thanks for keeping her dancing. All the kindness and care she received at the Victoria Hospital, especially the nurses and aides on 4 North, was also greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Eugène Catholic Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road. A private interment to follow in Aubigny. Flowers are gratefully declined and in lieu donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. On t'aime beaucoup Mom. Gros bobecs.
