FRANCIS M. HAWRYLUK It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Frannie on June 15, 2010. Fran will be sadly missed by her cousins Judi and Dwayne Dahlin, Jodi, Joshua and Matthew Dahlgren, Sheri and Daren Gomez, uncle Tom and auntie Shelly Copeland, as well as good neighbours and friends Vic and Reta Veren and family, the Payne girls, and numerous other family members and friends. She was respectfully known as auntie Fran to many more. Frannie was the only daughter of Nena and Walter who predeceased her in 1972 and 1986 respectively. She was born on November 18, 1934 and resided in the Elmwood area her entire life. Upon graduating from school, Fran started working with Eaton Financial Services. That firm later became Laurentian Financial from which she retired in 1991 with 39 years of service. Fran was loyal member of the Eaton Retirement Club of Winnipeg since its inception, and was currently serving as its President. She toured the world with her club friends and got to visit England, Europe, Hawaii and the U.S.A. A reception and celebration of Fran's life will be held on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow later. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fran's memory to a charity of your choice. Miss Me, But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little - but not too long And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared Miss me - but let me go For this is a journey that we must all take And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely, and sick of heart, Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me - but let me go (poet unknown)
