Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGUY JOSEPH DEGAGNE March 6, 1934 - June 14, 2010 It is with sadness and sorrow in our hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Guy DeGagne after a courageous battle with cancer at the Selkirk General Hospital. He was born and raised in Fort Frances, ON. In 1952 he married the love of his life, Mae (Bodnarchuk). Guy worked for the Fort Frances Dairy, until he moved his family to Thompson, MB in 1965. There he worked for INCO for 29 years till his retirement in 1994. In 2006, he and his wife moved to Selkirk, MB, giving up their wonderful home at Paint Lake, but continuing his amazing hobby of wood working and crafts. Most of all in the homes of all his family and friends. He was predeceased by two sons Guy Stanley and Jody Gean, his parents, four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Mae, son Dale (Tamara), granddaughters Crystal (Brett Connolly), Amanda, Rhonda, Andrea, Charmaine, Danette (Katherine Scott); six great-grandchildren; brother Alcide (Angele); sisters Rosanna (Earl Tweetie) Jeanne (Ed Kaun) and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Selkirk General Hospital for their care and support. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, June 26, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in Fort Frances, ON.
