JULIENNE DELPHINE BRANDT (BALLEGEER-MORIN) It is with great sadness the family announce the death of beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, Julienne Delphine (Ballegeer-Morin) Brandt, fifth daughter of Adolph and Emily Ballegeer, born March 5, 1919 in Dry River, Manitoba. She passed away June 18, 2010 in the Grace Hospital at the age of 91 years. Julienne went to school in Mariapolis. She married Alex Morin October 7, 1937 and raised two boys, Norman and Freddy. They farmed around Mariapolis until they bought the restaurant in Dunrea (1952 to 1959) then was a custodian in school until they moved to farm in Ninette when she worked housekeeping at Sanitoruim. She moved to Winnipeg in 1962 where she worked at different domestic jobs, then met and married Lotar Brandt on August 7, 1982. She retired in 1984. They travelled each year to the east, then the west coast to visit relatives along the way. Julienne is survived by her husband Lotar and one son Norman (Bernice) Morin of Crystal City. Grandchildren, Mona (Kerry) Schott, Michael Morin, Melanie (Gord) Garbett, all of Crystal City, Patricia Morin of Dunrea, Curtis Morin of Ninette and Shelly Morin of Calgary. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gabrielle of Winnipeg and Bertha of Toronto; and brothers-in-law, Herbie (Connie) and Harold, and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was predeceased by son Freddy in 2000; daughter-in-law Linda in 1995; infant daughter; sisters, Carmilla, Martha and Yvette; one brother Michelle; brother-in-law Art; and sister-in-law Christine. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with viewing one half hour prior, interment and reception to follow. Pallbearers will be Michael Morin, Curtis Morin, Kerry Schott, Gord Garbett, David Brandt, and George Derrette. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of Oakview Place and 3N Grace Hospital for the dedicated care and support to family. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
