FORSYTH 1955 - 2010 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother and life partner, George Vaughan Forsyth. His first teaching position was in Peguis, MB where he taught for five years. He then taught in Dominion City where he remained for 21 stimulating and fulfilling years. While at Roseau Valley School he taught Business Education and computer courses. He also coached badminton and supported the school in their many extra-curricular events. George travelled back to the Maritimes every summer where he spent his precious summers hiking, playing tennis and exploring the coastline in his zodiac with any of his friends and relations who were up for an adventure. George was a bright light and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will take place Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg. I remember how Mr. Forsythe would proclaim "bonus mark!" each time I raised my hand to interject with a shortcut or alternative way of performing the same computer function he was teaching at the time. I feel a drive to constantly improve upon the status quo, I believe this is where it began. I miss you sir. - Posted by: Ryan Harms (Student) on: Oct 04, 2021
