MYRTLE ISABEL HAYSOM (nee SOMERVILLE) 1926 - 2010 On Saturday, June 19, 2010, Mom was freed from all pain. She left this world knowing she was loved, and will be cherished by her daughter Lesley; Glynis; her granddaughter Sara; sisters Joyce and Marnie (Percy); brother Wm (Bud), sisters-in-law Isabel and Audrey; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Gerald and her son Douglas. Mom was a beautiful, dignified and caring person who delighted in spending time with her family and took special pleasure in participating in caring for Sara as a child. The toys, clothes, and costumes she sewed were an expression of her love. Mom volunteered her time by doing the books for SPLASH Child Care for the past 15 years. She will be sorely missed. On Friday, June 25, Myrtle's Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Lindenwood Manor, 475 Lindenwood East with Rev. Loraine MacKenzie Shepherd, presider. Special thanks to her nieces Dawn and Cathi and friends Linda-Ann and Berna for their love and support over the years.
