WILHELMENIA (WINNIE) LOUISE YOUNG (nee BAY) It is with heartbroken sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother and ma, Winnie, on June 19, 2010 at the Beausejour Hospital at the age of 79. Winnie may have lost her courageous battle with diabetes and kidney disease but she died as she lived - stubborn and on her own terms with family by her side. Winnie will be lovingly remembered by her children Tammy (Leon), Linda (Marco), Barbara (Joe), Cathy (George), Susan (Danny), Cindy (Tim), Jimmy, Robert, and Morris. She leaves behind the last surviving sibling Percy, remaining relatives (like actress Francis Bay) and in-laws. Winnie had numerous grandkids and great-grandkids. She was very proud of them and loved them very much. Also, to mourn her are all the friends she made over the years. She always won over everybody's heart. She was predeceased by her loving husband Raymond Young, her parents Jacob and Margaret Bay (nee Dunn), sisters - Elsie, Rubie, and Jean, brothers - Lenny, Ritchie, Albert, Ronald, James, and Jacob, most of the family is now back together. A very special thank you goes out to Dr. Vanrensburg and ALL the amazing Beausejour Hospital staff who took such great care of her and became our second family. Your love and support will never be forgotten and is greatly appreciated. We would like to also thank all the other health care providers who made a positive impact in our mom/ma's life (Emergency and M.I.C.U. at St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. LaCerte. We apologize in advance if somebody was forgotten. Winnie was the ultimate cat lady and she loved her animals.
