ROBERT BARROTT Peacefully, on June 25, 2010, surrounded by his loved ones, Robert passed away at the age of 54. Robert was born June 18, 1956 in Winnipeg. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mandy, son Scott (Amanda), daughter Crystal (Marc), his grandson Tristan (Mr. Buttons), his mother Doreen, sister Carol (Dale), brother Daryl (Bev), nieces Jillian and Tracy, guardian angel Dara as well as his extended family the Chaputs. Robert was predeceased by his father Ernie, and his special Grandma Cove. As a self-employed contractor, Robert was able to use his natural handyman talents everyday. Recently, he joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Operations Team incorporating work with his passion for football. He dedicated his life to helping his family, friends and strangers. Through organ donation, he touched the lives of five recipients and their families. We appreciate the compassionate care provided by members of W.F.P.S. and the St. Boniface Hospital with special thanks to neurologist Dr. Fast and Chaplin Lorne Korol. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., on Tuesday, June 29 at 7:00 p.m. Donations may be made to Rob's charity of choice, the Never Alone Foundation, PO Box 51064, RPO Tyndall Park, R2X 3C6 or to any charity of your choice.
