EDGARDO P. FELIPE Edgardo P. Felipe passed away peacefully at age 51, months after trying to survive a congestive heart failure. He was surrounded with family and friends in his last hours. Ed Felipe was an employee of the Manitoba Lotteries-Club Regent Casino in the Food and Beverage Department. Ed is survived by his wife Jeannet Lopez-Felipe and only daughter, 13 year old, Elizabeth Jean Felipe, mother Angela Panlilio Felipe, siblings, Dave Felipe, Sany, Evelyn (Boyet), Gill, Elsa (Edsel) and Cheril. He was predeceased by his father Alberto Felipe, sister Nennet and Uncle Jaime. He leaves his extended family with tears and smiles, parents-in-law Manuel and Leonila Lopez, siblings-in-law, Gigi (Tony), Carol and Manny (Ethel), Uncle Ernesto, Aunt Lourdes and Aunt Leticia, cousins John (Marnie), Jenny and Eric (Allison), nieces and nephews Eldrick, Evan, Emma, Bryan, Mark, Harold, Nico, Ethan, John, Eena, Jordan, Joshua and Duanyell. The family wishes to recognize the medical care provided by Dr. Chi-eing Chow and Dr. Rabson as well as the support and professionalism given by the staff of the CCU, GH4 and GH7 of the Health Sciences Centre. The viewing (Lamay) will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Friday, July 2 and Saturday, July 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Prayer service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 3 at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St. on Monday, July 5 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Serenity Garden at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens followed by a reception at Chapel Lawn.
