JOHN KLEM March 28, 1926 - June 28, 2010 It is with deep sadness that the family of John Klem announces his passing on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 84 years of age. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife and soulmate of almost 60 years, Florence; his daughters, Darcie Klem and Karen Garbutt; son-in-law Gord; and devoted grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Garbutt; brother-in-law Justice Clarence Yanosik; sister-in-law Cecily; and the Yanosik and McTaggart nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his only son David, John Klem in 1999; sisters, Alice Milner, Margaret McTaggart and Phyllis Sargalis. John lived a full and rich life loving his family and having passion for nature, gardening, photography, writing, travel, baseball, wine collecting, storms and aviation. He had a long career with TCA, Air Canada and the Travel Industry. The world was a place to explore. Always loved, we will miss you dearly. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 3 at the Chapel of Howard McBride Westlawn, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton.
