JOHN GERALD (JERRY) BRENNAN On June 30, 2010, Jerry passed away peacefully at the age of 76, with family by his side. Left to cherish his memory are Mary, his loving wife of 50 years, children, Gordon (Lee), Lyle (Sandra), Sheila Kasepchuk (Mark) and grandchildren, Liam and Jade. Jerry will be sadly missed by his brother Ernie, sisters Nora Latour (Gene), Bernice Wilkinson, Shirley Rochon (Norman), Millie Hemmelgarn; sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ernie and Mary, brothers Patrick and Leonard, sister-in-law Inez Brennan and brother-in-law Paul Hemmelgarn. Jerry was employed with Paulin Chambers for 38 years, where he made many lifelong friends. He played hockey, baseball and curled, and had a great love for the outdoors. Jerry will be remembered for his wit and humour and willingness to lend a helping hand. His life was full of accomplishments and adventures, and he always approached life with a sense of zest and enthusiasm. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, healthcare aides and staff at Riverview Health Care Centre for providing loving and compassionate care for Jerry. We also wish to give special thanks for all the support of family and friends. A Memorial Service celebrating Jerry's life will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at John Black United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, MB. Cremation has taken place and Interment will be private.
